SWMCCC Event Coordinator
Time: Sunset is at 5:16 pm. Meet at 6 pm on the beach at the base of the GH Pier where we will demonstrate light painting and experiment with star trails. It may be too bright near the pier, but we will discuss how to capture star trails.
What to Bring: Photo gear and high powered flashlights, tripod, shutter release.
Stormy Weather? If there is lightening, we are still planning to meet-the event will become a lightening shoot. We will cancel if it is overcast and snowing or constant rain.
Stay Over? Grand Haven is a great town! For those who will be traveling distances, if you would like to stay overnight, there are many options for an overnight stay. Click here for information.
After the Shoot: We'll head to a local restaurant for food/drink in downtown Grand Haven. Please join us!
Updates: Please follow the West Michigan Photo Enthusiasts meetup group discussion for changes to the event.
Questions? Please contact Cari Povenz, Event Coordinator for SWMCCC. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let Cari know if you are planning to attend, especially if you are traveling a distance, so we can meet all the photographers from various camera clubs.
